Deirdre O’Sullivan of Dee Clutter is a Certified Professional Organiser recognised by the International Institute of Complementary Therapists (ICCT). She is an expert in how to declutter and organise.
Having worked in both public and private sector organisations, Deirdre became convinced of the benefits of organising and decluttering in the home and office. Deirdre combines her formal record management experience with holistic therapy techniques to help people create an environment that works for them and makes them feel good!
Deirdre shared some of her tips with us on how to be organised at home which can be particularly tricky with babies and young families.
Her tips were really practical and straight forward focusing on looking at the space and your rooms to see what will work.
Some of the products Dee uses herself for storing clothes and toys include:
Ikea Skubb boxes
Ikea Kuggis boxes
Ikea Pluggis boxes
A great suggestion for children’s books was to use a spice rack. Dee uses this one from Ikea but anything similar will work.
Dee also pointed out that Homebase and Woodies have loads of great storage options now too so you don’t always have to make a trip to Ikea and can usually find what you need locally!
Thanks so much for joining us Dee! Be sure to follow Dee Clutter on FB and on IG where she is always sharing tips and tricks for being organised!
