Top Picks of the best Children’s Books:

I know I’m biased but I love giving and receiving books for gifts. Nothing excites me more than the prospect of some good reads over the Christmas holidays. I’ve chosen my favourites here for different age groups. Happy Reading!

For babies and toddlers:

Kindness Rules is a bright, vibrant and energetic book with lovely messages about kindness and friendship.?

Ages 3 to 5:

I’m a Girl is another gorgeous energetic picture book about a feisty little girl who loves to break stereotypes.?‍?

My Dad Thinks He’s Funny will definitely make its readers laugh with all the corny Dad humour. A favourite in our house for years!?

Ages 6 to 10:

Fantastically Great Women who Changed History is a fascinating illustrated book about inspiring women who changed our world.?‍?
This is How We Do It is such an interesting book about how 7 children around the world spend their day. I love learning about other cultures and traditions so this one is definitely high up on my list. ?

Ages 6 to 12:

Sofia Valdez Future Prez is part of the Questioneers series which I absolutely adore. It’s an empowering book about Sofia who realised that even though she is a child she can still make things happen. Other books in this series are Rosie Revere Engineer, Iggy Peck Architect and Ada Twist Scientist. ?‍?
